‍Trimlight comes with a lifetime product warranty. Simply reach out and request to have the light replaced via the Repair Order Request. You may or may not be charged a labor fee depending on your location and the length of time since your original install, but the faulty product will be covered under warranty. 

The answer is sometimes. If the glitch or fault occurs within the RGB components then it will only affect that single light diode. The light may turn a different color or shut off completely. If the glitch or fault occurs within the data wire of the affected light, it may affect all the lights after it in line (often times turning all of the lights blue no matter what color they are set to). Either way it is a quick and simple repair, reach out and complete a Repair Order Request and we will swap out the affected light which will correct any issue. 

Trimlight comes with a Lifetime Product Warranty. The lifetime of Trimlight depends on how often it is being used. On average Trimlight will last between 20-30 years (assuming it is only used during nighttime hours). If Trimlight is constantly left on day and night, it will significantly reduce the lifetime of the lights. Remember, the Trimlight Edge Controller application for ios and Android allows the user to program, schedule, and set their lights to a timer. 

Trimlight is an app driven technology which is why it will not work with PCs. Trimlight is designed to work with any iphone or android device. The app will also work with most Mac computer systems since they are also app driven. ‍Unfortunately you cannot have your existing Trimlight system removed and used again on another home. Trimlight is designed to be a permanent fixture on the home and the channel is specifically ordered to match the color, style and footage of your existing home so it would not meet the criteria to be utilized on another structure. Be sure to list your Trimlight system as a valuable home upgrade on your home listing, though, as it adds customization and architectural beauty to the roofline. 

With RGB lights pure white is using a combination of red, green and blue to create the color. Therefore, the pure white setting may appear to have a blue hue, some people see the hue and some do not. We recommend looking at pure white from the sidewalk or street before trying to adjust the setting. If you still want to take the blue out, you can go into the custom color setting, type in 255 in each box below the corresponding R-G-B. From there, slowly decrease the number in the blue category until you see a white light you like. You can also use google to search for lists of RGB codes for different white hues. 

RGB LED means red, blue and green LEDs. RGB LED products combine these three colors to produce over 16 million hues of light. Note that not all colors are possible. Some colors are “outside” the triangle formed by the RGB LEDs. Also, pigment colors like brown are difficult, or impossible, to achieve. 

Trimlight’s patented channel system is designed to match the color of the roofline, blending in seamlessly to hide the wires from view. They lock the lights securely in place and they are hardly noticeable during the day. 

The channel is an aluminum casing designed to hide the wires. It is available in over 80 colors to allow for a fascia color match or complimentary trim color. From the road, it appears as if the home has two step fascia - a look some buyer's pay extra money to acquire.

Typically, LED diodes with lenses can become faded or damaged due to constant sun exposure over time. However, Trimlight’s residential lighting has no lens or covering, just the direct LED shows out of the channel, which means Trimlight LEDs will not fade, get cloudy or become discolored over time like many other exterior LEDs. Furthermore, Trimlight residential LEDs face down and below the channel which further protects them from constant sun exposure.

The calendar allows you to set up any lighting schedule you want so you don’t have to worry about it while you are away on business or vacation, but if you need to access your system remotely no problem!
